Rodney practices in all areas of Commercial and Civil litigation and also undertakes Criminal Law matters in all jurisdictions.
Rodney also appears in tribunals including the AAT, VCAT and the Industrial Relations Tribunal where he represents in conferences, mediations and contested hearings and he also undertakes mediations at the Office of the Small Business Commissioner.
Rodney completed a Master of Laws at Melbourne University (Nov. 2009) principally in Litigation, Evidence and Legal Remedies, where he wrote papers on Medical Negligence (H2A) and Expert Evidence (H2A). Rodney Studied at Sydney and LaTrobe Universities and was admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Laws with Honours (H2A), where he wrote his thesis on Commonwealth/State Industrial Relations Conflicts.
Before coming to the Bar Rodney practiced as a Solicitor and also has extensive Commercial Business Experience with well respected listed International Corporations. Rodney brings to his practice a wealth of commercial experience in all areas of business-related legal matters: Taxation; Industrial Relations and Employment Law; Property and Retail leasing/tenancies; Contracts; Sale of Business; Franchising; Occupational Health and Safety; WorkCover and Work-related injuries.
Rodney also teaches the Law of Contract, the Law of Torts and Civil Procedure at Victoria University Law School.
