Since coming to the Bar in 2000, Áine Magee QC has been practicing predominantly in the personal injuries area in the Supreme and County Courts and at Inquests.

She was a partner in the Insurance and Financial Services Division of Phillips Fox for ten years and practiced as a solicitor for sixteen years.

She holds a postgraduate diploma in insurance law from the University of Melbourne and is an Accredited Mediator.

She has had three Readers - Leisa Glass, Andrew Newman, Peter Hamilton and is Senior Mentor to Felicity Blair and Andea de Souza.

She was a member of the Essential Services Commission Appeal Panel from October 2005 at October 2015.

She is a current member of the Victorian Bar Council since 2015.
