Ariadne graduated from Monash University in 2001 with an Arts/Law (Honours) degree. She completed her Articles of Clerkship with Hebert Geer and was admitted to practice in April 2004.
In April 2005, Ariadne joined the Office of Public Prosecutions. In her 3 years with the OPP, Ariadne worked on a variety of matters based in Melbourne, regional Victoria and also in the Higher Court Appeals Unit. She instructed in courts ranging from the Children’s Court to the High Court and appeared in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Court of Appeal.
From September 2007 – April 2009, Ariadne was Associate to the Honourable Justice Coghlan of the Supreme Court. In this role, she was involved in numerous homicide trials, pleas, bail applications and hearings in the Court of Appeal.
