Leisa specializes in general negligence litigation, with a particular focus on personal injuries litigation.

Leisa completed her Articles and first year of practice at the TAC.  While at the TAC, Leisa managed a portfolio of Serious Injury Originating Motions and Common Law Damages Writs in the County Court, and Impairment Dispute Applications before the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal.

Prior to being called to the bar Leisa also practiced at Wisewould Mahony Lawyers, in the Recoveries Litigation Team.  In this role, Leisa managed recoveries litigation on behalf of the VWA, TAC, and self-insured clients.  This involved the conduct of proceedings in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, ranging across a variety of third party liability disputes.  Her practice in this area allowed Leisa to gain experience in litigation involving: occupiers’ and manufacturers’ liability, labour-hire situations, medical negligence and international recoveries litigation.
