Marathon for Bowel Cancer Australia

You may have noticed I haven’t posted much to this blog lately. In part that’s because I’ve been spending a lot of time outside enjoying Melbourne’s beautiful winter weather (hail, anyone?) training for a marathon I’m running in October.

You may have noticed I haven’t posted much to this blog lately. In part that’s because I’ve been spending a lot of time outside enjoying Melbourne’s beautiful winter weather (hail, anyone?) training for a marathon I’m running in October.

Last year a dear friend died of bowel cancer, aged 37. Nathan Scarlett’s friends and family decided we would take inspiration from his life and run in the Melbourne Marathon to raise funds for this wonderful organisation’s work in bowel cancer research, education, advocacy and support.

1 in 12 Australians are diagnosed with bowel cancer before age 85. 90% of cases can be cured if diagnosed early enough.

I’ll be running 42.195km on October 12. Are you with me? If this blog has been a little useful for your or your clients, will you support me by donating to Bowel Cancer Australia? Any donation is very gratefully received.

You can read about Bowel Cancer Australia here.

Thank you for your support.
