The Victorian Bar Human Rights Committee is presenting a CPD session featuring list members Felicity Gerry QC and Shanta Martin.
Felicity Gerry QC specialises in serious and complex crime, often with an international element and increasingly with a corporate overlap. She contributed to the Parliamentary Inquiry into establishing a Modern Slavery Act in Australia and teaches at Deakin University in the area.
Shanta Martin practices in commercial and public law, with particular expertise in business and human rights. She practiced for much of the last decade in the United Kingdom bringing international corporate accountability cases in the High Court, including the first ever modern slavery related claims against a British company.
