Anita, having previously completed Articles and working as a solicitor at McCluskys Lawyers, signed the Bar Roll in November 2007.

Since joining the Bar, Anita has cemented her extensive knowledge and experience in the field of wills and estates, having been involved in numerous Testator Family Maintenance cases on behalf of both applicants and the estate in both the County and Supreme Courts.

Her estate practice has expanded to include testamentary capacity cases, applications for the removal of executors and proving informal wills.

In addition, Anita regularly appears in the Guardianship List at VCAT where she has acquired an in-depth knowledge of Enduring Powers of Attorney and issues pertaining to capacity. She actively promotes a collaborative approach to guardianship disputes should the particular circumstances allow.

Anita also appears in family law matters when capacity issues or related estate matters arise.
