Jason was admitted in 2002 after serving his Articles with Rigby Cooke and signed the Bar Roll in 2003.

At the Bar his practice is mainly in planning, building and construction, administrative law and local government with regular appearances in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts, VCAT and panel hearings.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from La Trobe University and a Master of Laws (cum laude) from The University of Natal. For 16 years prior to undertaking his Masters degree Jason was a licensed electrician working in all areas of the electrical industry - commercial, industrial, residential and major construction sites in Melbourne.

Jason has a comprehensive understanding of Occupational Health & Safety issues on construction sites.
