Profile

Rhiannon practises in commercial law and has significant experience and expertise in insolvency matters, corporations, equity, trust disputes and contractual disputes. 

Rhiannon appears both led and unled in trials and applications in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the County Court of Victoria and the VCAT. Rhiannon accepts briefs to advise and appear across all state and Commonwealth courts and tribunals.

Rhiannon is regularly briefed in winding up applications, applications to set aside statutory demands, applications on behalf of liquidators for directions from the Court, oppression claims and director and shareholder disputes. 

Rhiannon routinely advises liquidators and trustees in bankruptcy in respect of voidable transactions, preference claims, breach of directors duties and claw-back provisions. 

Prior to coming to the Bar, Rhiannon worked as a solicitor in private practice in commercial litigation and insolvency/restructuring. She also worked as a Supreme Court Associate to Her Honour Associate Justice Lansdowne, gaining extensive experience with respect to interlocutory applications and trials.

Rhiannon read with Chris Brown KC of Lonsdale Chambers and her senior mentor was Sam Hay KC.
