Profile

Tiphanie’s practice encompasses a diverse range of matters relating to real property, land use, resources and the environment.  Her background in science provides specialised skills in matters involving technical expert evidence.  She appears and advises in relation to water, infrastructure, resource, environment, town planning and real property matters (restrictive covenants, easements, adverse possession).  Her expertise encompasses judicial and merits review, regulatory and quasi-criminal matters, at trial and on appeal.


From 2019 to 2024, Tiphanie was a Board member of the National Environmental Law Association.  She has been recognised multiple times in Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession in the Victorian planning & environment barrister category.


Tiphanie previously worked at the Department of the Environment and Water Resources where she was involved in the development of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 (Cth).  She holds a Bachelor of Laws (H1), a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Laws.
