Paul Bourke

Profile

Prior to coming to the bar, Paul was a Senior Legal Manager at the Transport Accident Commission, most recently managing the Common Law team. Paul defended claims for common law damages, serious injury applications, applications for review at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and conducted appeals. 

Paul was previously a Senior Associate with Minter Ellison’s Insurance & Corporate Risk Group and worked in a broad range of practice areas, including public liability, medical negligence and professional indemnity. He commenced his career as an associate to His Honour Judge Rendit of the County Court and completed articles at Anderson Rice, where he also became a Senior Associate practising in general insurance litigation.

Paul qualified as an LIV Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law in 2005 and read with Alan Middleton.
