Peter Hamilton practises in all areas of personal injury litigation and personal injury class action matters. 

Examples of Peter's recent or current cases include: 

• the Krakouer class action - racial abuse of AFL players and their relatives 
• the IMARC class action - a police torts claim relating to pepper spraying of protestors 
• the Rooke class action - AFL concussion class action brought by former players and their relatives 
• the Hillcrest class action - jumping castle incident in a Tasmanian primary school 
• Nicola Gobbo v State of Victoria & Orman v State of VIctoria & Gobbo 
• a number of cases on behalf of victims of abuse or discrimination who are LGBTQIA+ members of the community 
• South Australian institutional abuse class action 
• a number of Australian Consumer Law proceedings
• a number of medical law and related proceedings

Before coming to the Bar, career highlights included instructing in Hudspeth v Scholastic Cleaning (2014) and the MMR vaccine medical board investigations in London (2008-2009). Before then, Peter worked for a major personal injury firm (2005 - 2007) in Sydney and Brisbane. 

In 2013, Peter graduated from the Master of Laws programme at Monash University, completing one of his subjects at Humboldt University, Berlin.
