Rabea accepts briefs in discrimination, criminal, regulatory and administrative law. She also accepts briefs in other areas of law that intersect with criminal law.
Rabea is on Victoria Legal Aid's Preferred Barrister List and holds an Indictable Crime Certificate. She is experienced in appearing in indictable criminal matters in both Victoria and NSW. She has also appeared in coronial inquests, regulatory proceedings and a range of therapeutic jurisdictions.

Rabea has a particular interest in Counter-Terrorism Law. She was a contributing editor to the publication, "Anti-Terrorism Laws: ASIO, the Police and You’” (4th Edition, 2017) and has appeared in public hearings before the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security.
Rabea served as a member of the Review Advisory Committee for the Review of Sexual Harassment in Victorian Courts and as a member of the Independent Pandemic Management Advisory Committee appointed by the Minister of Health. She was selected as a junior counsel participant in Victoria Legal Aid's 2022-2023 Trial Counsel Development Program.
Rabea is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and is a current member of the Victorian Bar's Indigenous Justice Committee.
Rabea read with Simon Moglia (now His Honour Judge Moglia of the County Court). Her Senior Mentor is Dr Ian Freckelton KC.
