Profile

Kevin accepts briefs across a wide range of commercial matters, including family law and wills & estates, insolvency matters, employment and building disputes. He also accepts briefs in criminal law matters.

Prior to signing the Bar Roll, Kevin practised in general commercial law in Melbourne, including building, employment and property matters.
Kevin has a long-standing interest in alternative dispute resolution. He is an accredited mediator with the National Mediator Accreditation System (Australia) and has participated in a number of mediations and compulsory conferences in both commercial and individual matters.

Kevin is fluent in Cantonese and is experienced in working with Chinese clients who speak Mandarin.



Kevin was called to the Bar in Hong Kong in 2006 and continues to hold a practising certificate in that jurisdiction. His practice in Hong Kong covered both commercial and criminal law, where he appeared for both the prosecution and the defence, and was appointed to the legal aid panel as well as the Department of Justice’s special fiat list. Kevin is also an accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (UK) and has conducted over 50 mediations in Hong Kong.

He is reading with Simon Rubenstein and his senior mentor is William Lye OAM KC.
