Mitchell is available to accept briefs in relation to all aspects of real property including easements, caveats, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes, owners corporations, leasing and some planning related issues.
Mitchell also has a broad commercial practice that includes agriculture, property developments, securities, transactions and general contractual disputes.
Mitchell’s criminal practice focuses on quasi criminal matters and criminal appeals. It extends to proceeds of crime litigation, white collar crime and disclosure related issues, including suppression orders.
Prior to coming to the bar, Mitchell worked as a solicitor in a large regional firm. He also worked as a principal solicitor at the Victorian Office of Public Prosecutions in proceeds of crime, higher court appeals and policy and specialised legal.
