Ruby is a common law barrister practising in personal injury and related areas of civil litigation.

Ruby has experience acting in complex and sensitive personal injury disputes and brings a practical, client-focused approach to each matter. Ruby accepts briefs for both plaintiffs and defendants, with particular experience in statutory benefits and common law claims arising from workplace injuries and transport accidents. Her practice also includes public liability claims, intentional torts and abuse matters.

In addition to her personal injury practice, Ruby accepts briefs in coronial inquests, administrative law and judicial review, civil procedure and employment law.

Ruby is recognised for her strong analytical skills, as well as her ability to communicate complex legal issues effectively. She approaches each matter with careful preparation and a focus on achieving a commercially and legally sound outcome for her client.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Ruby was an Associate at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, where she managed a practice specialising in WorkCover and Transport Accident Commission matters. Ruby holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology from Deakin University.
