Summary

This seminar will cover the history and policy behind the implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004 and the OHS Regulations.  The speakers will deal with the development of the principles enshrined in the OHS Act into a statutory cause of action at common law. They will discuss the practical application of this rising cause of action in injuries law and provide specific examples in an  emerging field of litigation.
