WorkCover Update: Recent Legislative Changes

In this presentation, list members Campbell Hangay and Luke Perilli will discuss the recent changes to Victoria’s WorkCover scheme following the passing of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment (WorkCover Scheme Modernisation) Act 2023.

Our presenters will analyse the practical implications of these changes, including :

* new thresholds for weekly payments after 130 weeks,

* how the changes may impact upon common law claims.
