Simone has a general commercial practice.

She appears, draws court documents and advises across all jurisdictions. Her experience encompasses all aspects of litigation, including interlocutory hearings, trials, appeals and mediations.

Her specific experience includes:

• Commercial law: contract disputes, Australian Consumer Law matters, debt recovery proceedings.
• Corporations and insolvency: Corporations Act matters, civil penalty proceedings, statutory demands, winding up applications.
• Trusts, equity and probate: discretionary trusts advice, contested Will proceedings, Will construction advice, informal Will applications, family provision claims.
• Real property: trespass actions, lease disputes.

Before coming to the Bar, Simone was the Associate to the Honourable Justice Sifris of the Victorian Court of Appeal. She also assisted the Honourable Justice McMillan in the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Prior to her time at the Supreme Court, Simone was a solicitor in the litigation practice group at Arnold Bloch Leibler.

Simone holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (History/Theology) from Monash University. She is completing a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne.

Simone read with Simon Pitt SC and her senior mentor is Stewart Maiden KC.
