Gregory is an experienced advocate practising across all areas of criminal law, including quasi-criminal matters.
He also accepts briefs in RSPCA matters, occupational health and safety matters, coronial inquests, licensing applications including Working With Children Check and firearms matters, intervention orders and local government/council disputes arising in the building and construction sphere.
Gregory appears in all courts and jurisdictions in Victoria and is available to accept interstate briefs.
He regularly appears in complex criminal proceedings, including jury trials, contested committal hearings, summary hearings, appeals, bail applications and plea hearings in the Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts.
Gregory was selected to participate in the Victoria Legal Aid Trial Counsel Development Program.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Gregory spent over three years as a prosecutor, appearing in a wide range of complex matters.
He read with Geoffrey Steward and Ian Hill QC.
Gregory holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Structural and Civil) and a Bachelor of Business Management from RMIT University.
