Profile

Daniel practises in taxation and commercial law, with a focus on delivering strategic advice and strong advocacy in complex matters.

In his taxation work, Daniel acts for clients ranging from government agencies and multinational corporations to private enterprises and high-net-worth individuals. He has particular expertise in applying federal and state tax laws to complex factual and commercial scenarios and is regularly briefed in both advisory and contentious matters.

Daniel’s commercial practice includes disputes involving shareholders and partnerships, the Australian Consumer Law, enforcement of domestic and international contracts (including cross-border supply of goods), and the administration of trusts.

He is an accredited mediator under the Australian Mediation and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) and is frequently engaged to help parties resolve complex legal and commercial disputes outside of court. He brings a calm, strategic approach to all aspects of dispute resolution.

Before coming to the Bar, Daniel practised as a solicitor at Arnold Bloch Leibler and Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens), gaining broad experience in litigation and advisory work.
