Alex McCulloch

Profile

Alex McCulloch practises primarily in common law and personal injury. He accepts briefs for both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving WorkCover, Transport Accident (TAC) and Public Liability claims.

Alex also accepts briefs in general negligence and torts matters, including dust diseases, institutional abuse work, professional negligence and related appellate and judicial review proceedings. 

Prior to coming to the Bar, Alex practised at Henry Carus & Associates where he conducted complex litigation across common law and statutory compensation schemes. He was regularly involved in the preparation of serious injury applications, statutory conferences, interlocutory disputes and damages proceedings in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the County Court of Victoria.

Before entering legal practice, Alex founded and operated several businesses in the commercial and arts sectors. This background provides him with a strong understanding of the commercial realities faced by individuals and organisations involved in litigation and informs a practical, outcome-focused approach to advocacy.
