Sandra is a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
Sandra is a barrister and Nationally Accredited Mediator with a broad commercial practice. She accepts briefs in all Victorian courts and tribunals and is regularly appointed as a mediator in commercial, trusts and estates matters.
Sandra practises across a wide range of commercial matters, with particular expertise in equity, trusts, superannuation, and wills and estates. She regularly advises and appears as counsel in complex disputes involving trusts, corporations, contracts, and matters involving equitable interests in real property.
Recent work has included:
Sandra has a longstanding interest in public international law and the law of armed conflict, with a particular focus on the experiences of child soldiers. She completed a Master of Public and International Law at the University of Melbourne.
In addition to her practice, Sandra is an updating author of Thomson Reuters' civil procedure commentary, Victorian Courts.
Sandra is the Convenor of the Women Barristers' Association and a member of the Victorian Bar's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.
She previously served on the New Barristers' Committee from 2016 to 2018, including as Chair in 2018. She was also a member of the Chapman's List (formerly Howells' List) Committee from 2015 to 2018 and again from 2023 to 2026.
